The Focus Conference on Forensic Linguistics will take place at the University of Alicante on September 6th, 2021, prior to the 5th ILLA General Conference (Sept. 7th-9th, 2021). It invites papers dealing with the scientific linguistic analysis of language as evidence. Suggested areas of discussion include but are not limited to the following:
- Authorship identification
- Speaker identification
- Plagiarism detection
- Deception and lie detection
- Linguistic profiling
- Language crimes
- Language cybercrimes
